Rēzekne municipality in the valleys of the valleys in volleyball

In a warm and sunny Saturday of 6 April to Maltas, the men of the Rēzekne municipality of Rēzekne went to find out which parish is best playing volleyball. There were nine teams - Malta, Feimaņi, Bērzgale, Kaunata, Verems/Audriņi, Lendži, Rogovka, Razna, Griškāni. More than 100 people came to these competitions, both athletes and supporters.
The participants were divided into two groups and a circle system was played. The games were exciting, the atmosphere benevolent and friendly, because both sides of the piazza were not the opponents, but well acquainted with the victory of each other, but the square struggled like lion. As it was expected, in the group, he said, as a leader, Kaunata, in which the ancient volleyball was in dignity. The team was composed of both players who played at national league and prospective young people. On the other hand, a serious fight between Berzgali and neighborhood parish in Malta and Feimaņiem took place as the second and third place. In these exciting struggles behind the finals, the homegroup Malta remained.
The B group had four teams. All the games were strained. However, i have to admit that Rogovka's team, whose game was “conductive” Sandris Turlai, was a little better. As a result of the next phase, Razna's team, with its “engine” Edgar Teivana, and the United Verem/Audriņu team.
The winners of the groups automatically entered the semi-final. In order to enter the final, the relationship was cleared by Verham/Audriņu - Feimaņu and Bērzgale – Razna teams. As expected, the games were very tight, and Razna and Verham/Audriņi were in the victory.
As a result of the final match, the best team and the Rēzekne District Championship became Kaunata, the second place in Rogovka, and the third place in the dramatic, emotion-rich play “torn” by Razna's team.
By organizing and watching parish struggles, it came to the conclusion that such a format was very much liked by the participants, taking the parish into a volleyball game and loving it, it is an opportunity to meet in an informal atmosphere, spend time in sporting activities. Hopefully, there will be more participants in the next parish matches, as volleyball is a very democratic sport.
