“Meet your master” in Rēzekne municipality

The school of traditional skills launched in 2009 “meets your master” will continue this year. The essence of the event is to convey to the general public about the traditions of the economy, the ancient professions and the people – masters – who have inherited knowledge from generation to generation and also allow us to learn something new.
Similar events, where traditional skills scientists receive apprenticeships, will also be held at the same time in France, Spain, Italy, Belgium and other countries in the world. In the past years, the event “meets your master!” More than 13 thousand visitors have visited Latvia.
This year, the masters of Rezekne will be able to meet Kaunatā and Maltā.
28 March at 12.00 Kaunatas in the People's House the event “meets your masters” will be able to learn or supplement their knowledge in knitting, knotting and spinning.
