Silmalas parish reveals a memorial place for the victims of Communist terror

On June 14, that year, Rēzekne Municipality took Silmalas parish IN THE village OF Silmalas, where THERE was previously Silmalas school, a monument was discovered in 1941-1949 for repressed, deported and deaths OF Silmalas parish. Silmalas parish management manager p.i. took part in the monument discovery event. Janis Laizāns, Silmalas parish cultural staff and Aleksandra Orlovska, who was repressed in 1949 and who succeeded in returning to his homeland after several years. The event started with Latvia's national anthem, and the women's vocabulary “mood” performed the same song as the parish. IN the realization of this idea, Silmalas parish residents and parish employees who also formed a monument site. The parish people now have the opportunity to visit the memorial site and lay down flowers.
