Any person who has an Internet connection may, at any time in his convenient place and time, be able to learn from online learning useful knowledge, as well as learning financial literacy, with the portal Latvija.lv mediation by the National Employment Agency (SEA) RESUME and vacancy portal e-learningwhere e-learning modules are available to users “How to create an effective job search strategy”, “preparing a motivation letter and preparing for an interview” and “my money today and tomorrow. Financial literacydeveloped under THE European Social Fund (ESF) project “Support for unemployment education” implemented BY THE SEA.

NVA e-learning module “How to create an effective job search strategy” for any lead, remotely allows you to learn how to search for work, learn how to effectively structure job search steps, how to prioritize how to design a job search action plan. The content of the study is divided into three sections: “job search”, “time scheduling” and “stress management”. The module provides guidance to the jobseeker, both for the study of their knowledge, skills and skills, for useful time planning in job searches, and helps to overcome stress that may occur in unemployment and during a new job search. The content of the training includes theoretical explanations, audio and video, dialogue simulations and self-verification. Duration of acquisition of the study substance - 5 academic hours.

E-learning module “Preparation of a letter of motivation and preparation for an interview” the first thematic part provides knowledge of the content and technical preparation of the motivation letter, explaining what is motivation, where the motivation is to gain the meaning of the motivation letter, how to predict the employer's wishes, which differs from the letter of motivation from the application letter, in which order a letter of motivation should be written, as must be drawn up. The training topics also include tests that will help to identify motivation individually and formulate wishes for job search, including examples of motivation letters. In the part of the module, “preparing for an interview and working interview” contains the tips to be done before you go to an interview, how to dress and look at how to create a good idea of yourself, how to present yourself, how to overcome psychological barriers, how to act after interviews, etc. The course of the training shall include tests and may be modelled in an interactive manner. At the end of the training, a knowledge test test is required, which is available only when the entire contents of the e-learning module are met.

E-learning module “My money today and tomorrow.” Financial literacy offers an opportunity to acquire knowledge of government and household budgeting, ways of earning, tax significance, control of expenditure, the nature of credit, the importance of financial documents, price formation, the role of the financial sector in the economy and the forms of financial services, the rights and responsibilities of consumers, the principles of the operation of the social insurance system, etc. The lesson has four sections: “money and business”, “private finance planning”, “financial and economic environment”. Taxes', 'national and social budget, operation of the social insurance system in the country'. The content of the training includes theoretical explanation, audio and video materials, dialogue simulations, self-verification options. The duration of the training is 5 academic hours, but a test test must be performed at the end of the training.

In the 11 months of 2020, a total of 6860 unemployed persons and jobseekers registered IN the SEA have been able to acquire useful knowledge and financial literacy online, from which 4535 SEA clients have successfully completed their training: financial literacy – 2174, the establishment of an effective job search strategy – 1724, the creation of a motivation letter and preparation for the work interview – 637 participants.
