Cycling “Icha stone-era camp in search”
On Saturday, August 18, the Luban Wetlands Information Centre organizes a cycling “Ice Stone Camp in search”. The main purpose of the journey is to familiarise the village of Icha with the village of Berzpils and the fishermen in Solas village, to know the cultural historical heritage of Luban Lake and the nature reserve “Lubana wetlands”.
Gathering at 09:30 Gaigalavas in village at Gaigalavas parish centre, parking area (X: 687714, Y: 6291846 Rēzeknes street 2, Gaigalava, Rezekne municipality). Velocity start at 10:00. The planned total length of the journey is approximately 60 kilometres.
In the towel, everyone is invited, but we keep in mind that the length of the route is 60 km, so consider your strength, energy and strength, the good experience and the inner readiness to go, curiosity and a positive mood so that you can improve the mood for a tired road bier.
The towel will lead us through the asphalt (15 km), gravel roads (17 km), as well as forest roads and Meadows, as far as possible to avoid more intense traffic and worse quality grantings to create a safe and pleasant journey. A number of stopping points are foreseen during the trip.
In the village of Icha, the village of Berzpils will have lunch (fish soup). We take some knife to the road, because after lunch there is another place with an opportunity to swim, drain and recharge the rest of the kilometres. In particular, we think about water reserves (there will be one place to fill water bottles). We are also invited to follow the weather and take care of suitable clothing as warm and sunny time as well as rain.
A cycling membership fee of 5 EURO, which will be invested in the provision of lunch soup.
