Roman Catholic Church of Feimani (John the Baptist).

Feimaņu Roman Catholic Church built between 1756 and 1760 In 1760, the Bishop was consistent with the honour of John Baptist. Feimaņu Catholic Church is an architectural monument of national significance. Among all the churches of Rezekne, this wooden church stands out with the largest number of art objects of national significance. These are fifteen, including 18.gs. three altar cockpits, trousers, church steps, organ prospectus, oldest cups from silver etc. The original wooden floor was preserved in the church.
A wooden cross is located on the left side of the church garden, built in place of the First Tree Church. A call tower with four calls is located at the entrance gate. In the quiet week, the church uses the so-called “klabatas”, which looks like an ancient laundry roller and is unique in terms of size and originality. They have a length of approximately 2 m, a width of 0,7 m and a height of 1 m.
About two hundred metres from the church is a wall of stone, which is very reminiscent of the bell tower after its construction and windows. It suggests that they are one master. Unfortunately, there is no news about when the chapel and the bell tower were built. According to the People's stories, the captain had served as a place for children's baptism during his time. Now there is a warehouse.
As of 1710, there is a list of congregation minds that demonstrate that there are excellent clerks in the Feimaa church. It also mentions Jezups Macilevičs, who published a large-scale book “Pawuiceišona and wysaidi sposobi dirty Latvišu” in 1850 (“instructions and various solutions for Latvian farmers”, author interpreter.). This book played an important role in the development of the Latgalian language.
The decane and the Livonian Canonic, Joseph Kirkillo Feimau, have built a poor house where even noble people have lived. Due to the anniversary of the anniversary of the papal, in 1828, the monument “Myvra Krysts” or “crusade” was raised from his hand. It was renewed in 1990. The cross is a small piece from the church to the Lake Fairy. This stationary monument links the attention of every passioner, especially when it is the first time. (Sville, 1995).
