A masterpiece of peppercakes will take place in Vilnius

Viļānu inhabitants of the association on 11 December at 11.00 invited to participate in the creative workshop “masters of peppercakes painting”. During the masterclass, volunteers will learn peppercake painting techniques. Later, during Christmas, the painted peppers, together with the shares of “needy silk quotes”, will be given to the homes and medical practitioners of the homeland. The necessary materials will be provided by the Volunteering Cities + project.

Location of the workshop: cafe “at Kaupra” IN parish Viļānu. In the case OF COVID-19 conditions, participants in the face-to-face class will have to present a personal identification document and an interoperable vaccination/overburden certificate. Number of places limited. A video material will be available after the masterclass – a guide for the painting technique of peppercakes.

The creative workshop is under THE “Volunteering Cities +” project of the European Union programme “URBACT”. The aim of the project is to create a group of active people in Vilnius who, involving co-workers, implement various volunteering activities IN THE Viļānu association, as well as promote co-operation between the local government and the population.
