Calls for an exchange of experience in future and existing entrepreneurs
The Business Contact Points of Education - Business Contact Points call for an exchange of experience in emerging and existing entrepreneurs in order to draw lessons from successful entrepreneurs in Rezekne District.

Beekeeping farm “Birds” - the farm produces popular beekeeping products – honey, cell honey, pollen, bee bread, wax, propolis. However, in addition to these traditional beekeeping products, “Skip honey” has introduced valuable innovations in his assortment as a collection of honey and propolis. By using a scientific and research-based innovative approach to the creation of the final product, the owner of the farm, Žanis Yko himself, has built a number of professional equipment necessary for the acquisition of beekeeping products: the solar wax smelter, the decapitaliser, the pollen calf, the vapour wax compress.
Guest house “Stikani” - bird observatory information centre. The first season of their first season was opened in spring 2018. The guest house “Stikans” is managed by SIA “Natural Tourism”, which offers bird observation and other natural sciences in the guide of the genus – natural specialists.
The Guesthood is located on the banks of the Orenis ponds and is part of the Luban wetlands complex, which is a unique natural area at European and global level. There are 236 bird species, 87 of which are species threatened in Europe. In contrast, more than 180 bird species Luban wetted as a nesting site. At the time of spring migration, around 23 000 waterbirds are staying at Luban wetlands.
Rural sown “creek houses” - Mrs Sarmitte Stepina, who is also known as a member of THE TV show “the real Latvian housewife”, offers a variety of tourist services in her rural area. As one of the most binding offers, the tasting of the rural benefits of the sentinel recipes and, in particular, the high popularity has been inherited by the blood sausages of the Sarmite. An interesting active recreational facility is a laser biathlon that can be tested in a field of “streets house” in a laser-tag area.
SIA “Puordare” - The company's owner, Ingona Samule, has created a social enterprise that offers its own services and products. There are spacecraft services, paper-casting workshops, bee wax workshops for children and young people, various sizes and types of bags that have been sewn back into the fabric. To a large extent, the philosophy of the company's activities is based on the “Zero Waste” approach, which focuses on environmentally friendly and sustainable farming.
Wales Sarmule - mājas of the house – ice cream and confectionery with the Brend “Cukurella” manufacturer. In 2018, the Latvian Rural Consultation and Education Centre organised “fields to be” in the category “Production of value added of agricultural production (including domestic production and small-scale food processing)” “Welsh business idea won 1 st place. As well as financial support for the development of their business, Wales Sarmule also achieved the start of the foundation“ Rural Economy for the Rēzekne District ”in the project competition.
