The Christmas Marketplace concluded a “rural benefit” market in the summer of that year
In the summer of 2015, the trade tradition of local domestic producers and craftsmen was concluded with an ambitious Christmas market, which took place on 22 December at the premises of the municipality of Rezekne. It was attended by favourites and has already been certified by local producers, as well as new members from the municipality of Rezekne and neighborhood. In organising the event, the establishment of “Rural Economic Development in Rezekne District” managed to bring together almost 50 domestic producers and craftsmen.
Many took advantage of this opportunity to buy both food for the festival and gifts to their relatives. Although the z/s mint of Sakstagala meat products are requested in each monthly market, this time the line will not appear until the end of the market. On the other hand, Sarmite Stepton's blood sausages, z/s fishermen smoked Lake Luban fish and z/s leaf quail eggs were literally caught in a short time. Although sometimes, according to the weather, it seems that spring is approaching, it is necessary to strengthen its immune system to treat the whole winter. Therefore, the broad offer contained honey production as well as garlic and horseradish for a proper vitamin dose. On the other hand, Valentin Svarinsky was inspired by Valentine Svarinsky with his green herbs. Inese Madjule, z/s springs, z/s lakes and z/s Lucky houses offered fresh local fruit and vegetables. Both Aglona's bread museum production and z/s Berzubirzes and Valentine Svarinsk's self-baked bread could be found in the sense of feeling. Do not stay without milk products. Along with z/s travelers from Gaigalavas and LPC Viļāni cheeses also offered z/s Juri from Riebinu municipality. On the other hand, it might be difficult for Carumnieki to choose the knives between cakes, biscuits, wafers filled with full milk offered by the confectioner Olga Vinochova, Aiga Zute and SIA Rogovka bakery. The municipality of Rezekne also produces wine. We can be proud of our vineyard marta Estonia and her family wine, which has received a quality control label for Latvian wine-growers and vinthar societies.
The Rēzekne municipality is not only a large crowd of food producers, but also craftsmen. The handmen had knitted beautiful gloves and socks. In contrast, Inara's sugar - hats and scarves to be always warm. In addition, every lady could find a specially tailored jewelry, both a remnant and a handful of stone and leather, and a Flowerfestival of FlowerFestival head-jets and jewels. Latgale is famous with ancient ceramic traditions. The Christmas fair was represented by Peter Gailums, Anatoly Whituskin, and he also had the opportunity to buy the works of Anton Ushpeel.
A real Christmas mood was created by the smell of peppercakes in the air. As one of the creative workshops, the cooking and rotation of peppercakes were offered. It included not only the smallest members of the market and the visitors, but also the adults. Martin Lipsk had also brought his masterpieces from Ludza from Ludza, the village of a bunch of peppercakes. In contrast, 3D decoupling, glass encoding and tapping workshops were able to produce a variety of works that could be a nice gift and inspired further work.
In 2016, we'll resume the monthly trade tradition in February.
