Audriņu primary school students also enjoy fun during their holidays!

In order for the vacation to go in vain, students of classes 4 and 5 decided to go into a study excursion to the Aglona bakery museum and the Daugavpils Olympic Centre.
The purpose of the journey was to meet the traditions of the baking of Latgalian bread and to promote healthy food, which is hard to imagine without rye bread on our tables on a daily basis. The museum's manager, Kudina, a very energetic woman and a loving woman, told her about the ancient traditions of Latgalian rye growing, the process of rye bread, and the importance of it in our lives. The museum visit was not boring because there were many demonstrations, the Latgalian song and poems, and even dance. The museum exhibits could be held by hand and imagined as a real Latgalian farmer. Everything ended with the tasting of the real rye bread and the pleasure of the green tea.
If there is a desire to raise children for their land traditions for knowing and loving people, this museum visit is worth it.
After the museum, we went to the basin of the Daugavpils Olympic Centre. It's a real children's paradise: two different pools, baths and Jacuzzi. Two hours of swimming, diving and “cracking” made the journey unforgettable!
