Dentists master class in Nautrens

In life, it is usually that we fear or avoid what we don't know. One of the most striking situations in the lives of children and young people, which are related to health care, is certainly a visit to a dental practitioner. In order to encourage students to link their future with medicine, dentistry or healthcare, Nautrēnu secondary school students were given the opportunity to explore the profession of dentists and to reveal a variety of professional secrets.
The well-known dental practitioner, Ināra Oļševska, was not only acquainted with his work duties, medical course, instruments and other secrets, but also with the ability to obtain the qualifications of the dentists. The students were very happy to be in the roles of the dentist, the doctor's assistant, and the patient, who made it possible to understand the specifics of the work. The learners could therefore conclude that, in order to become a dentists, it is important to pay special attention to STEM subjects, learn to be very good, thorough and accurate.
The Dentists masterclass was organised under the European Social Fund project No 8.3.5.0/16/I/001 “career support in the framework of General and Vocational Education Institutions”.
