Announcing the EU's award for a fair and ethical trade city

In 2018, for the first time, a European Union city will receive a prize “EU Fair and Ethical Trade City”. This prize is the initiative of the European Commission, which was launched by dg Trade in the Commission's Communication on Trade and Investment Policy published in 2015.
EU municipalities with more than 20 000 citizens participating in fair and ethical trade with third countries are eligible for a prize, through excellent and innovative projects, programmes, policies or practices.
Deadline for submission of applications: 13 April 2018.
