Flags top Feathers

The municipality of Rezekne is located IN Feimaņu parish, one of the largest flag workshops in Latvia, “Baltic Flag. It is here, next to the standards of the various countries of the world and companies, that the honest, red-blue-white Latgale flag is also top. The head of the company is Feimanietis Maris huaks, author and performer of the idea of Latgale flag.
In the centre of the workshop room, a large print facility where the flag of Rēzekne is currently located. The machine is produced in South Korea and is the only such modern printer in Latvia. SIA Baltic Flag currently 7 employees are employed, mostly Maltas, Feimaņu and residents of Rezekne. Maris hopes that their number will be increased shortly. His business has been affected by significant and positive changes in recent years – first name Flags LTD, expanding to the market across Latvia's borders, changed to English Baltic Flagwhile the company moved completely from Riga to Feimaņiem, arranging one of the abandoned village buildings in Rezekne -- on the edge of the Preilu Road.
Maris Romakh has been engaged in the production of flags since 2004. There have been other types of business – a tourism firm, an Internet shop where computer equipment was traded, but now only stayed with flags where the niche is less busy – currently only five companies are preparing flags in Latvia, Baltic Flag is one of the biggest and most modern ones. The main customers are not only local flags, but also a wide variety of companies, including Sky, Dinaz etc. Until 2008, during the crisis year, both the plant and the office and warehouses were located in Riga, but gradually the company moved to Latgale.
“The number of orders decreased, the employees had to be dismissed, the Riga office was too expensive, decided, as it would be, it would be, and then the firm would have to shut down, move first to Latgale. But somehow, however, we had to send more flags again, and then we realized that it was not important for business, whether we were in Latgale or Riga, that they could work and do much with the Internet. Today's technology is not to be turned on somewhere in narrow spaces in Riga, but rather to develop its own business in any place.“ Maris mentions arguments -- Compare to another location in Riga is even more expensive than get it from Feimaņiem with courier directly in the office. “To go from one district of Riga to another, it is like driving from Rezekne to Feimaņiem. The quality of roads in Latgale has also improved. We are not worse than other regions of Latvia," Maris is optimistic about the future of his company in Latgale. With the flags of different sizes and colors, there are also souvenirs -- pennants, frames, magnet, and printed cups.
