“My Latvia” won Maltas secondary school I team

On 22 November, Rezekne and Viļānu of the municipality of Rēzekne gathered in the municipality of Rēzekne and Viļānu, in order to identify the most knowledgeable and successful team in the erudition game “My Latvia”. This year, 17 teams took part in the competition, competing in seven contests, where they tested their knowledge of Latvia's history, culture, literature, nature, people and sport, and tried to recognize ancient names, such as: dozer, scuttle, bamboo, the peoples and centennial movies, namely the movies that are going to be honored for the centuries of Latvia, are shown to be healthy 16, as well as shown how well the various facts about Latvia are known, for example, that Abava sends at Sabiles and Kandavas are called Kurzeme Switzerland, that Dāvis Sīmanson was the first commander of the Latvian Army, that more than 129 birch species are present in Latvian forests.
In compiling the results, the 3 rd place with 38 points was fought BY Dricānu secondary school team (Valerija Makeyeva, Laima Treikule, Alice Braze, Catherine Semule, Dace Vilcāne), 2 nd place with 41.5 points won THE Viļānu secondary school team (Laura Svikša, Gunta Kroiča, Christian Sergeāne, Gatis Wulan, Christian san), while 1 st place with 42 points was earned BY Maltas secondary school I team (Henriete Ignatjeva, Indra Korolimoka, Gabriel Greidans).
