In the competition “My Latvia”, the victory laurus is plucked by the New Virgin primary school team
On November 15, in anticipation of the anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Latvia, traditionally Rēzekne and Viļānu of the municipality of Rezekne gathered in the municipality of Rezekne, in order to identify the most knowledgeable and successful team in the Rēzekne game “my Latvia”. This year, 17 teams participated in the competition, which made ten contests, including, examining their knowledge of Latvia's history, culture and sport, attempting to determine the Latvian characters and the People's traditions, after illustrations recognized the peoples songs, as well as filling in the Latvian geographical “passport”.
In compiling the results, the 3 th place with 76,5 points was won BY Viļānu High School I team, divided into 2 nd place with 81.5 points ranked AT Bērzgales primary schools and Nautrēnu secondary school team, while the 1 st place with 84 points was earned by the team of Jaunjjan elementary school team played: Ivars Razgalis, Žanette Piļka, Ilyja Geornov, Ilyja Jershav and Martin Komps; the team was prepared by Andrejs Zahars.
