On 18 March, THE journalist group OF THE Maltas children and youth centre used a gift that had been waiting for his “opening” since November 27, last year, namely the 1 st place in the competition organised by the Rēzekne Higher School and Latgalian cultural association “Muna sate, dzymta, shkola, pogosts 1917-2017” (on the created newspaper “Maltas parish 100 years”) was a earned trip to the European Parliament's Member, Professor Inese Vaideres's office in Riga.
On Friday Friday of the weekend, eight members of the crowd (una Kancāne, Vita Tarasica, Cynthia Bundere, Evija Laizane, Lilly Orlova, League Runchis, Daira Aleksandroviča, Janis Flower), along with her teacher Skaidritis Squikes and BJC Methodic Intu Buli, began her holiday. The road to the capital made it possible to enjoy all the tint of winter and spring relationships – the sun, the hail, the snow, but Riga was waiting for us with the sun and the cool wind, which, this time, brought us into the spotlight of various emotions and events, but generally allowed new impressions.
It turned out that our group was the first guest OF THE EP, the economic doctorate, Professor Inese Vaidere's new office. The young people looked at the party's “unity” sitting table and settled around it, watching the film about the professor who turns out to be from a musical family (real heart and hand reliance is Grandma's bought piano); she tries to run every morning to get the body; she is happy to harvest the flowers; the most part of the week is spent outside Latvia. With her support and the European Parliament, the film “Councils of Councils” (2008, director Edvin šņore), as well as thanks to the persistent work of MEPs and colleagues, is recognised by August 23 throughout Europe as a day of renouncement of the victims of Stalinism and Nazism.
Mrs Waidere also told her about her connection with Latgale (her mother-in-law is from Varkava) and emphasized that the growth of this region was positive, an excellent example being the activities of “Preilu cheese”: not to complain about various sanctions, but to work and search for a market for products. She also informed young people that they were working in both Brussels and Strasbourg and in a number of committees responsible for addressing both global challenges (such as the refugee issue) and THE EU's internal market, such as geographical blocking, the introduction of new food. She has also been responsible for youth employment affairs and, in this context, she mentioned her assistants in both Brussels and Riga, who are real professionals, because they have to be able not only to coordinate their work but also to actively participate in the discussions, to work with the flow of information and to offer work projects. Her suggestion – “more work, less strike, because there is always something to be sacrificed for the future”! Thank Mrs Vaidere and her assistant Diana Dubrovsk for their responsiveness, support, content, lunch and impressions on the Saeima!
It was also the day when the expression of the mountain and Muhammad was expressed in a special way, as they both met somewhere along the way, because, as it is known, the Saeima deputies elected by the Latgale electoral area visited Latgale on 18 March, including the new Maltas multifunctional centre. But young people surveyed the place in Riga with interest where these Members took part in decision-making and were pleased to take photos of the heavy oak and green chairs of these Members in the Saeima Chamber.
The visit to the light palace was included as an additional viewing object, as most children saw it for the first time. The opportunity to see the newspaper of journalism and Latgale in the Middle Exhibition “cannot be written” was used, which also contained evidence of the ban on printing in Latgale and Siberia in the letters written by Latvians to the birthday. Behind the dark curtain, the illuminated materials in the windows, and the sound of the voice, with the reading of the letters, implied the atmosphere that revealed the nature of the exhibition.
But it seemed to be the most brightest trip that would remain in memory of the children's clinical university hospitals, with a hurry, but the most sincere wishes for her girlfriend (who suddenly felt bad) and responsiveness, giving her everything she had taken with her. Young people will now know that every journey is not just a recreation, but, above all, a great responsibility that there must always be the objects of the first need, and it must always be ready for logical judgement and operational action!
