Mask ball in Signagala

20.01.2017

For young people

On 6 January, a “mask ball” was held at Sakstagala in the centre of public activity, with young people from six parishes – Kaunatas, Bērzgales, Griškāniem, Mākoņkalna, Ozolaines and Sakstagala young people who were the initiators of the event.

The new year has come and Sakstagala young people wanted to play an active part in the new 2017 with a Friendship evening among other parish. Sakstagala parish young people wanted to organize this event in Jautras.

At the beginning of the mask, there was a mask show, where the best masks were also evaluated. Kaunatas youth-prepared masks – pirates – were recognised as the best. Thank YOU FOR Kaunatas for young people about creative thinking!

In the course of the evening, the young people danced neatly and the evening did not take place without interesting and fun games and competitions, as well as mask balls. The event also included volunteer young people, Lysandre and assia, from France.

The event gave local Sakstagala young people an opportunity to meet other parish young people, make friends, dance, and enjoy their free time.

Thank you very much for Kaunatas, Bērzgales, Griškānu, Mākoņkalna, Ozolaines for young people and youth workers who showed interest in coming to the village and actively participating in the event! As well as thanks to THE parish of Sakstagala for the opportunity to organize a event in the parish hall, buy prizes and appoint a bus and driver who delivered the young people back and forth.
