Thursday at the Primary School of Verham

On 13 February, the Collective School of Verham had the opportunity to celebrate Methday together with THE “Vōrpa” folklore group of THE People's House (TN).
Even if one of the participants at the event did not know at first what the girl he was throwing, what he was doing, then, when he came to THE parish of Vērēmu parish, he quickly understood it. It was only to be involved in the puzzle, the explanation of beliefs, the toys, boasting, driving from the hill, going to the Metea Carousel, taking part in the spring and winter games, multiplying the Matthenes, eating pancakes, drinking hot tea, and watching all the bad thoughts burn in the fire.
With good thoughts, when we wait for spring, we thank the pancake bakers, the tea-makers, the strong carousel operators, the organisers of the event - Vērēmu TN leader Sarmite Strupovičai, the folklore community “Vōrpa” and THE Vērēmu youth centre leader Daigai Uanne for the nice afternoon!
