Project “Purchase of hardware for the performance of physical load tests and physical properties of physical properties for the population of Rezekne municipality”

In August 2017, a project “Purchase of hardware for the performance of physical load tests and physical properties of the Rezekne municipality” was launched with the aim of carrying out an in-depth medical examination of the athletes under the guidance of a qualified specialist.
In phase 1 of the project, specialised hardware - lactate apparatus, electrocardiograph, force dynamometer, breath peak meter, pulse oximeter, blood pressure meter, electric weights and equilibrium platform were purchased.
On the other hand, during phase 2 of the project, which ran from 1 June to 1 December 2018, the sports doctor and physiotherapist, Rēzekne municipality, conducted in-depth preventive health checks. The test results in the assessment of the operation of the most important human system systems - cardiovascular, respiratory, support-movement, in peace, load and post-load mode.
The implementation of the project took place in the partnership area of the Rēzekne District Communities IN THE EAFRD LEADER programme “19.2. Implementation of actions under the community-led local development strategy“ 2.3. Development of social and health services within the framework of the project competition. The eligible costs amounted to Eur 19423,61, of which the public funding of Eur 17481,25 and co-financing of EUR 1942.36 were provided by the children of the municipality of Rezekne, a youth sports school. The realization of the project takes place in a room next TO Maltas secondary school sports hall.
