The 10 th anniversary of the 10 th anniversary of the Razna National Park, in which representatives of state and local government institutions, natural scientists and scientists will meet on the exchange of thoughts, will be held in Rezekne in order to discuss the work already done in the field of nature conservation over a period of ten years and to look at future challenges.
The creation of the National Park and especially the Razna National Park is not conceivable without human and natural interaction, emphasizes Anda Zeize, head of the National Protection Administration Latgale Regional Administration. “People with only the current latgalical peace and the azarta have shaped the character of Razna National Park, promoting biodiversity, protecting natural and cultural values,” says A. Zeize.
She adds that society's attitudes and understanding are invaluable in order to continue to be able to maintain and develop the Razna National Park by balancing the needs of natural and human beings. “Or living and housekeeping in Razna National Park is an advantage or a lack?” We'll talk about this at the conference, "says A. Zeize.
Conference experts, academics, scientists, state and local government institutions will discuss the development of Razna National Park as a single tourism destination, landscape planning and water habitat management issues, the protection of bats and birds, geology and geomorphology.
In the second half of the day, the opening festival of Anne Ranāne and Andra Eglya's book “Razna National Park 10 years” will be held. At the time of the conference there will also be an exhibition of the photographs of Andra Eglīša, the anniversary of the anniversary, at the “intersection - nature”. The agenda of the full conference can be found on the website of the Nature Protection Administration: http://ej.uz/RNP_darbakartiba/

Razna National Park was established in 2007 to preserve natural values, as well as the typical Latgale cultural landscape in a wide area of Latgale. Razna National Park is a place to know Latgales – the natural and cultural historical values of the blue lakes, to enjoy the beauty of the landscape, to evaluate the hospitality of Latgalians, to explore the skills and traditions of the post-peoples of the generations.
The conference is organised in the “nature and man” project. Then and now. In order to inform the public about events and initiatives that have strengthened and further strengthen the natural values of Latvia, three scientific practical conferences are held within the framework of the project. A conference dedicated to the National Park of Ķemeri was held in October, while the twentieth anniversary of the North_North_Biosphere Reserve will be held on 30 November.
The project is funded by the Latvian Environment Protection Fund.
