The National Guard's training took place in Rezekne municipality
28 September National Guard 32. The militants and soldiers of the anti-personnel battalion concluded their participation in the field tactical exercise “sword 2019”. During the course of the training, the task was performed - the delay operation and the battle in a populated place, the Rezekne municipality is located in the parish OF Bērzgales. The notional opponent's role was the Allies from the Lithuanian armed forces.
The purpose of the training was to improve command-command capabilities, to verify the willingness of units to plan and implement defence and delay operations, as well as the battle in the built-up site.
The head of THE NBS Joint Staff, Brigadier General Imants Flower, Commander of the National Guard, Colonel Laščinskis, Lithuanian and US Allies, who appreciated the preparedness of national guardsmen, and the President OF the Rēzekne District Council in Monvīds Švarcs, said the National Guard 32. The excellent cooperation of the anti-personnel battalion with the local population and the local government.
At the end of the study, everyone gathered IN THE Bērzgales Peninsula, where the commander of the battalion, Major Edgars Belinskis, thanked the militants for their struggle and the conscious attitudes of the training, but the Lithuanian representatives said thanks for the opportunity to participate in well-organised training.

In training, “sword 2019” was invited to participate in the National Guard veterans, who were very happy that the knowledge they had acquired was being held in the case, as the national guardsmen over 55 years of age were no longer involved in training.
