Stoļerovas youth initiative project “Spravnia Signite”
With a smile, a fire and new ideas, we, THE Stoļerovas youth group (project leader Eddie Tihonov and leaders: Laura Gribuste, Lauris Ostrovskis, Sandis Nedushenko, Laura Nedushenko, Vadim Vasilyev, Diana Mutule, Renata Pavlova, Pavel Zubkov, Egon Lochmelis), took the most beautiful spring sunrise festival - Easter. As a result of spring and sun, we tried to bring the traditions into both the same and the hearts of the local people. The qualitative result of the ongoing process was shown by our own feelings, because when you are active, smiling and creative, there is a joy and satisfaction among others. We survived and understood that the festival starts not with the moment when everything is prepared for celebration, but with the preparation for them. Our idea of the project “Spravnie Sverdina” was helped by the Rēzekne municipality's educational administration competition for funding for youth initiative projects in 2015.
With fun children and adult relay, a variety of creative workshops: “Gift box in Easter”, “Decoupled plates”, “egg decoration”, “Face painting”; “lucky lottery”, egg ripening, sporting competitions, and the sweet feast took place in the first Easter afternoon. The evening programme, on the other hand, allowed us to speak informally, to reveal each of our talents, to persuade themselves in the knowledge of Easter traditions by rolling and hiding eggs, struggling to battle eggs and gifting them, as well as making a favorite youth meal, a pancake with a symbol of happiness. We are pleased about what we have done because we realized that there was force in the team. We were sure we could rely on each other, because the saliveness agreed.
Let us be very happy and grateful if the stools are more open and will continue to take active participation in the events. We will certainly make every effort to continue the implementation of the ideas and the ability to meet new projects.
