Both volleyball and baseball played in the fountains

In the end of August, the holidays in Sherjans were accompanied by sporting atmosphere. There was a competition in Thursball and a volleyball.
Five teams with three participants each (ages 13-18) took part in the strītbola competition. “Houston Rockets”, “Brooklyn Nets”, “Shergins”, and “Daalas Maverico” were fun. Each game ran for six minutes and a total of fourteen games were played. The competition was held in the quartball area at the New Jerusalem primary school sports hall.
After adding points, winners were announced. The first place was won by the Houston Rockets team (Christop Oberman, Artfield Jershaw, Jānis Dembovskis), in the second place the “Shergans” team (Ilvars Razgalis, Sergei Geornov, Artis Guard), while in the third prize, the team “Brooklyn Nets” (Emills Kapacis, Daniels Ceiruļs, Eduards Feklistovs). The winners were awarded with medals and diplomas, and they also received the other two teams.

On the other hand, the volleyball competition (three against three), which took place at the Sherjan Lake area, took six teams - 'SEE Spider 1', 'Stasiki', 'Azartnieki', 'Shergans' and 'Shergans 2'. The teams were divided into two sub-groups, and then the teams that got into the semi-final were gradually rising, but they were later in the final. For four long hours, the very hot August sunlight tested the strength and patience of the players.
The third place was fighting 'Shergans 2' and 'SEE Spider 1'. The fountains, however, adored their opponents, letting 'SEE Spr 1' (Aigars Kalnins, Diana Vasilyeva, Gint Michulis) win a third place. A very intense struggle for the first place where 'SEE Spider 2' and 'Shergon' played a point at the point, not wanting to give up the opponent. In the first season, “Shergon” won, the second most successful was' SEE Spik2 ', the third crucial sixth with the last forces, however, the team' Shergans' (Aldis Alekseyev, Andris Putrans, Kristaps Lizdics), arriving at number one, while in the second, leaving 'See Spider Vasilevsky, Sandis Lukashenko, Alexander Zeltiņš).
The winners were given medals and diplomas, the famous prizes also received by those teams who did not go to honour. As the day was very warm and sunny, the participants of the competition repeated several times in the Sherjan Lake, but after the award, all the participants were invited to the new leaf on the shore of the lake, where the cook - enthusiastic Edgar Kļaviņš was fond of a solace, cooked on a fireman.
