Vērēmu parish project “establishment of the centre“ living healthy ”in Sondor Village”

Implementation of the project “establishment of the centre“ living healthy ”in Sondor Village” was completed in October. The project was financed BY THE EAFRD Latvian Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 sub-measure 19.2. “Implementation of the action under the community-led local development strategy” activities 19.2.2. “Place potential development initiatives”.
The eligible costs of the project are €20,000, of which €18 000 is public funding and €2000 €Vērēmu parish co-financing.
The objective of the project is to improve social and health-enhancing services. Healthy lifestyles “live healthy” for parish people, especially adolescents, young people, low-income persons, and persons with reduced mobility, have been given the opportunity to spend their free time in a full and healthy manner.
In the framework of the project, the conversion of an apartment into a trainer room with auxiliary premises, a built-up ramp for the provision of environmental accessibility for persons with reduced mobility, a multi-purpose trainer, a bench and a stand with a weight bar, an elliptical trainer, a runway and a cycling passenger shall be installed.
