Quiz “my Latvia” Audriņu at primary school

AT Audriņu, a number of events took place in the primary school devoted to the 99 th birthday of the Republic of Latvia. One of the measures was the Victorin “my Latvia”. Students from Classes 5-9 participated in the quiz.
At the beginning of the quiz, video material on the history of Latvia's national flag was shown. The pupils were divided into four teams. Each team had its own tasks. The first task is to compile the Latvian map and write the names of Latvia. On the other hand, the pupils had to answer questions about the history of Latvia. In the third exercise, each team wrote missing words for the Latvian national anthem.
The quiz was rated by a jury consisting of three teachers, the school director Liana, the Latvian language and literature teacher Sandra and the Russian-language teacher alla. The jury assessed the children's performance and handed out the diplomas to the first three-place winners.
Such measures help to raise the patriotism and pride of pupils as their country.
