Calls on guardians, foster families and potential adoptive parents
In order to inform guardians and foster families living in the administrative territory of the municipality of Rezekne regarding the aid financed by the State funded in the support centre of Rezekne out-of-family care (psychologist, social worker, etc., support groups, training), the family and foster family support association “DOMUS” unit shall invite the non-family support centre of Rezekne to participate in the informal discussion on the development of the non-family care support system and inter-institutional cooperation.
Guardians, foster families and adoptive parents, as well as representatives of local governments and Orphan's courts are invited to the discussion.
The support centre specialists will inform the services available to families in conformity with the contract concluded with the Ministry of Welfare, but representatives of local governments and Orphan's courts will be able to address the host families and agree on common directions of action in the coming years without parental care in ensuring the welfare of the remaining children.
The discussion will take place On 24 August at 16.00, Rezekne municipality in the municipal hall Release alley 95A, Rezekne.
