The program is divided into two parts. The first part will be held in Latvia from 11 April to 4 June 2022, where the participants will gain practical knowledge and skills during their activities in order to be able to implement their intention more effectively. At the end of Latvia's part, participants will present their business ideas to the jury in the event “bear miga”, and the 14 highest rated participants will receive the opportunity to participate in the second part of the programme – Cambridge. The trip to Great Britain is scheduled for August 2022 to spend a full week in intensive work. Participants will be co-financed by accommodation costs in Cambridge.

“I call on everyone who has a business idea, but it's not yet clear if it might or could not go.” This is a good chance to check it out, get a rating from the edge, and really get into business if everything works as originally planned, recommends the program graduate Janis Yasko, co-founder in the company “Weedbot”, which develops the banning robot for agriculture.

The aim of the programme is to encourage entrepreneurship with an international perspective, to raise awareness of the culture of sustainable entrepreneurship and to improve the competitiveness of new entrepreneurs. When applying for a program individually or with a team, participants are given the opportunity to develop their business idea in an experienced mentor and lecturer society. The programme can be applied by both young people and people with experience in some speciality, but without experience in business. The programme is intended to provide participants with knowledge, experience and contacts for business creation.

“It is an excellent opportunity for young entrepreneurs and students to work with their idea in a“ safe ”environment, to meet young people, to create their own network of professional contacts in Latvia and also internationally. The Cambridge module is highly saturated with Cambridge history and innovation atmosphere, meetings with unusual people, confident lecturers and entrepreneurs. This experience is a valuable benefit that will provide an incentive for entrepreneurship for the coming years”, the co-ordinator of the story programme Elmar White.

The programme is implemented for the seventh time by THE association “CONNECT Latvia” in collaboration with the business ambassador, Professor Alan barrel, and Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge.
