On May 11, 2016, THE Audriņu primary school met guests from the firm. This firm deals with the collection and sorting of waste. IN the field of environmental communication, Editte Chepule visited us. She told children about the types of waste and the principles of sorting.
The pupils watched an interesting and pronounced multimedia film about the easites, and discussed questions about how to properly sort the waste that could be disposed of in special garbage receptacles and not, and why. They learned how long a variety of objects and substances might be divided into nature. It was interesting for pupils to find out how much waste would occur in one day, week, year.
On the other hand, the 5 th-9 th class students were able to see two films “why waste sorting is important?” and “Scroll plastics”. The event shows a detailed presentation of the waste during which the pupils actively participated in the discussion on waste generation, evolution, degradation, sound sorting and saving natural resources.
In the event, pupils took part in a knowledgeable game where it was logical to think, draw conclusions and sort the waste. In collecting the results, the winners of the game received prizes - small yellow containers for storing stationery.
Students engaged in the exchange of experience, acquired new knowledge, expanded awareness of environmental saving and waste recycling.
At the end of the lesson we tried to make practical use of the knowledge.
Thank Editte Chepulet for a nice lesson.
