Bikovsky family - “family heritage 2017”
Who else, if not small farms, forms the true rural environment of Latvia. In particular, if it is a family legacy to which the latter is staying. When you visit your ancestors, it will not be sold to the First Opportunities. In these farms, land is not just a tool in business but part of the Latvian identity. One of these is Joseph and Inese Bikowska farm “Safeguards.”
His father, Anton Bikowski, has taught him the love of his mother's work. He was one of the first. “Bresha” for the peasants of the Republic of Latvia. With his wife, Venerande, and his five poisonous children, he treated the land. There were horses in the heavy rural jobs. They did all the jobs, the ara land, the sowing, the grab wall, the forest, and the Sundays to the church. The children grew up, began to form their families. The work has moved to children and grandchildren. They're all chuckled, helpful, working people. Anton and Veneranda have gone to the sun. His daughter, Biruta Bikovskaya, left his farm in the inheritance, who, together with the premature children of his brother John, continues to cultivate and develop his father and his grandfather. On his shoulder, Anton worked with his younger son, John, but he had no long life, so the minor children, Cynthia and Daniel, were picked up by sister Biruta. Now Biruta and Cynthia and Daniel manage a “valve” of 23 hectares, wipe and collect eight bovine animals.
His older son Joseph formed his own farm and continued to go to his father's feet. With his wife and two sons, he managed 20 ha of land, wiped four cows. The older son Martin and his friend, Nina Ivanov, have now taken over the love of this work. The fifth year is the young farmer. Manages around 60 ha of land that is inherited from both grandfather and father and purchased by himself. It deals with cereals, milk and livestock farming. The holding contains 17 dairy cows and 9 young cattle. Planted cereals in the area of 40 ha. New tractor and Agro technique purchased by European Union co-financing. In order to be born, the family is also expected to be a heir in the autumn.
The youngest son, Raitis, has not survived the family fields, but if there is a free time, he will be willing to help the family in the farm.
Parents' advice, life experience and wisdom are a solid foundation and secure roots to grow and greet through centuries with the children's strength and hands.
Five children of Venerandas and Antonia, and their offspring, make up the whole and continuation of the bikovsky family. Although they do not live IN THE parish OF Gaigalavas, they all call the Rēzekne municipality for their home.
The parent daughter of the family, Genovef Gailums (Bikovska), is the HEAD of THE Ilzeskalna parish administration – a chaken, perpetrated, responsible housekeeper in both the parish and the large farm where she currently lives with her children.
Another sister, Anna Oļesova (Bikovska) lives IN Nagļu parish IN Nagļu in the village of Grandmother, where she lives with her family. Although the two children have already established their families, they always help in their parents' homes, because there is enough work for everyone in the countryside.
The inheritance of the bikovsky family - the love of land, the morality of work, the honesty, the chuckle, the mutual help, the close family ties, the farmer's tough … more and more. The inheritance that the children of the Bikowski family have passed on to their sons and daughters.
