Dainis Vilnius – Senior champion (group K50 +)

On Saturday, October 2, on Saturday, October 2, a sports veteran of Latvian local sports veterans-seniors was hosted, bringing 57 participants in five age groups, including 14 teams. The Rēzekne municipality team participated in two groups K50 +: Dainis Vilnius (Malta), Anatolijs Jasinskis (Malta), Alexander Vasilkov (Verems) and K60 +: August Seiksts (Verems) and Georgios Nikiforovs (Rezekne).

The participants were divided into four lord groups (K50 +, K60 +, K70 + and K80 +) and one Danish group. 7 consecutive games were played for 15 minutes for a party plus 5 seconds for a move.

50 + group, 13 participants in competition 1 st place Dainis Vilnius (Rezekne municipality) – 5.5 points, 2 nd place Ģirts tenis (Ventspils municipality) – 5.5 points, 3 rd place Ivars Jçkabson – 5 points. (A. Jasinskis – 4.5 points, 5 th place, A. Vasilkov – 3.5 points, 7 th place)

K60 + group, 13 participants in competition 1 st-M. Koops (Valka municipality) – 6 points, 2 nd place-A. Zuchkov (Ventspils City) – 5 points, J. Agafonov (Ventspils City) – 4.5 points. (A. Six-3 points, 11 th place, G. Nikiforov-2.5 points, 12 th.

Team assessment: 1 st place – Riga City (21 points), 2 nd place – Riga sports veteran club (20.5 points), 3 rd place – Ventspils city (19.5 points). The Rēzekne municipality, with 16,5 points, took 6 th.
