Europe and Rezekne municipality - at regional crossroads
The municipality of Rezekne is involved in THE “Europe for Citizens” project “CRISCO”, which will continue until August 2019. On Thursday, December 7, parish newsletters were gathered on the project seminar to familiarise themselves with project activities.
Today's Europe is changing; it is located at the crossroads of European regions facing unplanned challenges and challenges. The issue of migratory migration arises from the emergence of new groups of society for which local communities lack information, so that the public remains isolated from participation in local community life, both as a result of language, education and political belief or even prejudice.
The project involves 8 EU countries with different ethnic, social, formal and informal groups, which usually have very limited information on each other. The lack of information often leads to different prejudices or even the isolation of a group.
The municipality of Rēzekne was invited to participate in the Brussels Municipality, where the integration of the various European Communities has been raised in recent years. On the situation of integration in the Rēzekne municipality, the representatives of the local government of Brussels and other EU countries will be informed by the representatives of the local governments of Brussels and other EU countries who are best known for the needs and possibilities of different ethnic and social groups in their parish. During the project, editors will have the opportunity to rebuild photography skills, learn the basic principles of press releases, and get acquainted with the experience of other municipalities involved in the project in Italy, Strasbourg, Denmark and Brussels.
