Education

Feimaņu the opportunity of primary school students to familiarise Latvia through cultural and artistic events within the framework of the “Latvian School Finish” programme continues to expand. In the 2010-2020202020202020, pupils were involved in various events.
First event - September 26 th - 9 th grade school student trip to Daugavpils.
In the Daugavpils Spelling Factory (the oldest ammunition plant in Northern Europe with the only working lead tower in Europe), pupils surveyed the historical exhibition, the lead scrolling hall, the 32 m high-scoring tower, and the 14 m deep coolant, watching the film about the production of lead melting, casting process and cartridges. The pupils learned that the melted lead in the form of drops of drops, falling from the top of the tower, was able to solidify and obtain the perfect shape of the ball only in the coolant; that soap is useful in the production of scraps because of the softening of water; that today the factory produces ammunition for smooth-barrel weapons, as well as bullets for pneumatic weapons, renvoirs, scraps and even metal fences.
A special adventure was waiting for everyone in the shooting gallery - the chance to try the factory production.
Daugavpils Mark Rootko Art Center, which is a multifunctional centre of contemporary art and culture, was able to meet the organ of the world-famous artist, Rotko (1903-1970), to look at the exhibitions and make sure that art may be interesting to anyone who visited the practice, such as the graphic technique “Monotipia” (the print of his drawing on A4 paper).
In the fortress of Daugavpils, the pupils took an insight into the history of the fortress, surveyed the historical guns, the fortress guards with 8 bastions, the fortifications, the Kazemans, 4 gates (Nikolai, Konstantin, Alexandra, Mikhail), crossed Europe's longest wooden bridge with a turn, surveyed the basement of the powder, the environmental object “fortress, etc.”
The second event - on 10 October, students in Classes 1-5 met with the exhibitions of the Naujene District Museum, working in 2 groups, both in the glass painting workshop, where glass bottles were painted with interest and enthusiasm, and viewed the various exhibitions of the museum:

  • - the art exhibition “Latgale Parisiete Valentina Zeile” with works created by the artist in bronze (medals series about significant public employees, medals for travel impressions and artist self-portraits);
  • - the natural exhibition “Sirdsdaugava” with a journey through the unique area of the “Daugava circle” of Upper Danube and Nature Park. In the interactive glass wall, you could play games by painting a picture book.
  • - history exhibition “Polish cultural heritage in Daugavpils municipality” with the history of Juzefovva manor (living room interior and household objects - furniture, Kuznesov porcelain and fajansa factory vessels and fine embroidery characterising Polish culture, fashion and traditions);
  • - the ethnography exhibition “turīga farm room”;
  • - “Cell yourself!” on the ancient skill of the popular scroder (stitch, sketch, swačka) and the Syushon strodotuwi, which made women's clothing. The pupils looked at various sewing machines, embroidery accessories, and in ancient times modelled and embroidered clothes.

Following the visit of the Naujene District Research Museum, students went to see the Daugava circles from the Vasargelihou Viewtower. Despite his suppressed and rainy time, the pupils climbed into the 20 m high tower. Everyone was excited by the view from the top of the tower to the autumn golden Rozaliazu and Sandariazu Daugava circles, and the opportunity to see the site from which the Latvian 10 lats banknote was built.
The third event - 3 December of the 1 st - 5 th class students attended the theatre exhibition “Pipeline alone” in Rezekne Theatre “Joriks”. The performance—the silent detective told me about how the zoo came to the sight of a man who had not been seen so far, who was not like a kangaroo or a rabbit in the nightness. The mysterious guest is really good-natured and funny, but when a fire comes out in the zoo, his new friend disappears in mysterious circumstances. The zoo staff decides to join forces - and a detective investigation begins.
The pupils enjoyed the performance very much, though they didn't talk to them, but they used gestures, movements, music. Everyone admired the actor Martha Efendijeva, the Tatjana Suchinin-Pecka and Christine Klimanova's masterness to represent the various zoo residents.
The fourth event - on 9 December, students of classes 1-6 participated in the educational programme “Rainis”, directed by Raiņa Museum Jasmuiža. “Birthday”.
On an improvised birthday party, the pupils knew Rainey's poems (“birthday”, “sparrow and cat”, “horse children”, “fox and mole”, “broken mug”, “soap bubbles”, etc.), saw the artist Margarita Santraste, Joseph Pigogen, Felicitas Paulukas, the Illustrations of the poet of the poet, the poet of the poet, and the illustrations of his herbarium and the illustrations of Raine's poems on the sand lamps.
During the lesson, each pupil was able to develop creativity, imagination and thinking through a variety of work and improvisation.
On the shoulder of “Latvian School Finish”, the cultural experience of each pupil was enriched in all events, an expanded vision.
On the possibility OF Feimaņu primary school pupils to learn and experience, i would like to thank all the people who participated in the implementation of the “Latvian School Finish” Plan.
