More than ten years ago, a prosperity began in THE CULTURAL life OF Dekšāres parish, one by one, artistic self-activities began to form. Latgale Traditional Cultural Centre “Latgale Sate”
Society “Latgale Traditional Cultural Centre“ Latgale Sate ”calls for the way of our ancestral life. 20. g.s. In the 20 s, an authentic room, a collection of Latvian musical instruments and jewellery was displayed in the building.
In a creative atmosphere, guests will be able to try hand-to-hand baking, butter threshing, pottery, learn to create articles from a birch bar, learn the basics of a cockpit. There is a collection of authentic preserved Latgale mushrooms, musical instruments and jewellery, as well as several reconstructed buildings that were built in the bronze era in the lately populated area.
