The story of the Baltic poetic documentary and the search for human soul in art ever and today. In the sixties of the last century, thanks to the so-called “Hruschev atkusnim”, new documentalists in Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania called for its time propaganda cinema traditions and chronicles to be converted into art. In this film, we'll find out how they thought and how they succeeded – a seemingly so overarching Soviet Solaris at the heart of the ocean, and looking for answers to eternal questions; for those who had to answer each generation again.
