Education, Culture and sporta darba

Participation in the thematic working group is an opportunity to express their views and make proposals for the necessary improvements in the development of the Rēzekne State and Rezekne District. It is also an opportunity to meet, meet, discuss and create ideas with city and municipality residents, entrepreneurs and local government specialists.

Subtopics for this task group:

• General primary and secondary education, interest (clusters, music, art, sports) education; secondary vocational (SICC) and lifelong learning; higher education; pre-school education
• Cultural and recreational (cultural centres, libraries, museums) infrastructure and facilities; provision of arts, cultural and creative industries; preservation and development of cultural and historical heritage
• Professional and amateur sports infrastructure and services; public sport infrastructure for the well-being and health of citizens; provision of sports processes
• Leisure opportunities for young people; youth employment and education opportunities; creation of favourable psychological, emotional and physical environments for young people; promotion of youth initiatives and participation in decision-making and public life
