Admission of a Child to a Row of a Local Government Pre-school Educational Institution

Brief description	A pre-school educational institution of the municipality of Rezekne, whose restricted area of premises is unable to ensure the admission of children to the programme in accordance with the requirements of the premises of premises specified in external laws and regulations for the implementation of the programme, the manager thereof shall submit a submission to the administrator regarding granting of status to the institution which has a row for the acquisition of the programme (hereinafter – status). The educational administration shall, after examining the situation, grant to the institution the status of that status by an order of the manager, indicating the date with which the status is granted. If the parents choose to acquire a program for their child in a particular institution, which has been determined by the management order, the parents shall fill in a submission regarding the registration of the child in the line, indicating the information regarding the child (given name, surname, personal identity number, declared and actual residence), the desired time of admission, the desired institution and programme, parental contact information (telephone, address). In such cases, the head of the institution or administration shall, before writing the submission, offer the parents a place for the acquisition of the programme in another institution which does not have a specified status. If the submission is submitted to the institution, the head of the institution shall ensure that it is submitted to the administration within 1 (one) working day.

Brief description	Parents may apply for the acquisition of a children's programme at any institution which implements the pre-school education programme, in the territory of the municipality of Rezekne. Children of pre-school education programmes learn from 1.5 (one and a half) years to 7 (seven) years of age. The preparation of five-year-olds and six-year-olds for primary education is mandatory. Depending on the state of health and the duration of the psychological preparedness programme, the period of acquisition may be extended or reduced by 1 (one) year on the basis of the submission of parents or guardians and the opinion of the family doctor or psychologist. The groups shall be assembled as far as possible in accordance with the age, available space and financial provision of the institution.
