On the special day of that year, on 29 February, the 1 st-6 th grade school pupils, together with teachers and parents, went to Latvia's national opera and ballet, where they met the opera house, and watched one of the most loving children's performances in Latvia in the last decades, the “bird Opera” of the work of the composer Jānis Lsenna and the poet's Mar herb.
At the time of the opera visit, the pupils were prepared: the idea map “What i know about opera?” was created in the Latvian language hour, and the information on the website on the expected show was searched; in class hours, cultural behaviours and label issues were discussed, going to the luxurious opera house.
The students had a great chance to look at the unique architectural monument of the 19 th century, THE LNO building with its unique and magnificent interior, which created a real sense of festival.
The schoolgirl Victoria said, “The opera hall was very beautiful, delicious with lovely ornaments on the walls, and the chandelier's ceiling was very luxurious.” There was a lot of bright lights and a lot of mirrors in the corridors. '
Opera theme - love, friendship, concern, help. The good wins evil!
The pupils could watch and feel the main opera heroes, the good Doctor Dooll, his friends who were prepared to hurry to the assistants who had been found by a girl. The gorgeous birds and the ingenious animals did not lose their breath for a moment: they found the mysterious missing canary, and quickly cleared the fire and even studied the success of a rich opera.
The scandalous voices of the operatives were made more scandalous by THE LNO orchestra, the musical manager and the conductor Andris Weismanis.
The pupils were delighted by both the great actor and the decorations. There were also those who saw the opera for the first time in their lives, and they could see a pleasant surprise in their eyes as several pupils felt that Opera was just a singing.
After the opera visit, the pupils were in a very excited mood, shared the impressions, assessed the main role-makers, the camerorchestra sound, the ornate decorations, and the coats. The children concluded that Opera was something very luxurious and wonderful.
We were lucky on this day with weather, so after the opera visit we took a walk to a monument of freedom, walked around Bastejkaln Park, and looked at the buildings and buildings of the various stylistic directions in the streets of Old Riga.
The “Latvian School Finish” initiative provides a wonderful opportunity to cultivate and enrich his spiritual heritage, his mind and soul.
