The restoration of natural tourism infrastructure continues in Latgale
Establishment of the European Union Cohesion Fund project “anthropogenic load-reducing and information infrastructure” in Natura 2000 areas. In box II 'No 3DP/3 .5 .1 .3 .0/12/IPIA/VARAM/001, the Nature Protection Board continues the development of natural infrastructure in Latvia this year. In Latgale, the works will take place in the Nature Parks “Sauka”, “Kuja”, “Daugava arcs”, “Dviete Paliene”, the Tych Nature Reserve and the Razna National Park.
The work of restoration of natural tourism infrastructure in Razna National Park has begun, in the near future it will also be launched in the Tych Nature Reserve.
The Razna National Park will build a trail OF Lūznavas in the park almost kilometres. Currently, the OLD reinforced concrete plates are dismantled IN THE Lūznavas manor park, the old cover is harvested, the sides of the trails are aligned. Throughout the entire length, the basic paths of the trails are buried and blown. A new view platform will be built in the cloud and the information infrastructure will be improved. The Tych Nature Reserve, with EU support, will build a St. Island road of 300 metres.
In the Nature Park, “Sauka” will be a new view tower. Built on its base, the metal carcass and construction of the loadbearing structures. Delivered timber for the construction of a view tower.
On the other hand, a new information stand will be installed in the Nature Park “Kuja”. These weeks require the necessary preparatory work and the improvement of the area.
In the Nature Park “Daugava arcs” this summer, the Dinaburg Nature Trail will be built for more than half a kilometre, a courtesy building on the pillars, a peg staircase, bridges and a view platform, as well as a parking area and improved information infrastructure will be built. A single staircase (from the Dinaburg castle) and a part of the staircase (to the Dinaburg castle) have already been dismantled. In most parts of the trail, the new pavement cover was built.
There are two new view towers in the area. Construction of the lazdu mountain view tower - prepared basics and construction of the surface part - construction of stairways and platforms, construction of the assembled roof. By the end of the month of July, work on this tower will be completed. Similarly, the construction of the Vasargelihou viewtower has been launched – the current tower completely dismantled, the new building has been built and the construction of the surface area has been started.
In these weeks, works have also started in the Nature Park “Dviete Paliene”, where a parking area, improved information infrastructure, improvement works (sawn bushes, branches etc.), toilets, etc. will be built.
The works referred to in the abovementioned objects have been entrusted as a result of the procurement procedure to the full company “VJM” for a total contract amount of EUR 313093.85 excluding VAT.
