This year, for 9 th time, Latvia's Health Week 2020 was held throughout Latvia from the international project NowWeMove, which this time, due to COVID 19 restrictions, was extended and expanded over the month from October 26 to November 30. In Latvia, the Health Week or MOVE Week is organised by the Latvian People's Sports Association in cooperation with the International Association for Sports and Culture (ISCA). It is an annual European action aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles and involving as many people as possible in sporting, healthy and physical activities, and the global goal is to involve 100 million Europeans in physical activity by 2020.

At the time of the Latvian health week, Luznava-Makoņkalns was organized by Luznava-Makoņkalns as a celebration of the 102 nd anniversary of Latvia, but by fixing his results in the electronic application (this time it was Endomondo), every citizen of Lucznava parish and Rezekne municipality were able to participate in two virtual challenges “me KM”. In total, 26 people (as well as two dogs) were engaged in the stock and 2437,57 km were taken and/or run.

All participants showed a great motivation, competing among themselves, which received the Svetlanas Mikanova prizes and diplomas of the Latvian People's sports association Svetlanas Mikanova. The winners of the prizes, which, in a virtual competition, accumulated the most kilometres, were rewarded with medals. The 1 st place was divided by Liana Chernecova and Vita Gaile, 2 nd place – Juliana Karelova and Inese Leitāne, 3 rd place – Juris Dombrovskis and Nadežda Trusele.

Thank all the participants for their responsiveness, their strength and the spirit of fighting!
