Competition “my family coat of arms” launched in the Government of Malta

Parish news

We all have an opportunity to assess the time and to devote it to both ourselves and our families. In addition, this year, children have an extended autumn holiday, so that in order to spend this rest period useful and prepare for the month of Latvia's birthday, we call on the families to remember how important it is in our children to form attitudes towards their family, the country, and that only we – parents, grandparents – can do it!

Each family has its own unique traditions, values, achievements and history. To make it all in light, The Maltese Children's and Youth Centre calls on the Maltese association's management families (from Maltese, Ozolaine, Siledge, Luznava, Feimaa and Puche civil parish) participate in the creative contest “my family's coat of arms”. Families (or even family, if studied!) the coat of arms is a symbol of these values.

All members of the family are invited to discuss what is important to them (facts, personalities, activities, interests, etc.). Creative work can be used any technique (draw, paste, paint, create different collages from clips, photos, etc.).

The coat of arms is based on A3 or A4 drawing pages (if necessary, the worksheet may be taken from the Maltese BJC from 8.00 to 15.00, by telephone (28319076). The coat of arms must be signed (e.g., the Berzins family coat of arms), on the other side of the page, a small description of why it contains the specific things, details and the names of the designers of the coat-of-arms. In the process of creating a coat of arms, parents, children can safely call BJC group teachers and seek advice remotely.

Original works must be submitted to the Maltese BJC by 10 November (you can call a phone on a phone. 28319076). The exhibition of the participants of the competition will be seen at BJC premises from 16 November or in the virtual exhibition. After that, the coat of arms will be returned to their owners so they can become the honour of their family. Prizes for the originators of the most original and creative works!

Maltese BJC leader Vija Danilova: “thank all families who support their children in creative searches. It is currently hard for children, parents and teachers, because the tripartite creative process is hampered, but THE BJC is trying to maintain links with their learners and their families, and to strengthen it as a result of the idea of a new competition.”

We will create the honorary gallery of the Maltese association, and we will all devote this work to Latvia on the 103 rd birthday, because the families are the People's and State mirror! Let's remember ourselves and show the kids the best thing we have in their own inheritance or their own, and the pride of the family!
