Maltas career development support measures took place in secondary school
In the course of his career, from 14 to 18 October, a career development support (KAA) event was held AT Maltas High School. Class 11 students had the opportunity to participate IN THE KAA event “future professions and my way”. During this event, students were introduced to their careers and could learn more about their career. Participants were able to analyze their abilities and learn whether (and how much) they would need to adapt to future professions that would be requested.
In the course of his career in class 12, a discussion was held with pupils on the choice of professions, the familiarisation of professions and the objectives of their career activities - how the student himself can explore the professions of interest to himself. In class 8c, there was a discussion with pupils - whether it is easy to choose the right profession and whether it is necessary to do so. The pupils expressed their thoughts on the honesty of situations where a man of his career cannot be accepted by himself. Class 7a took place in groups: students should have created a “profile” of a specific profession, indicating what knowledge and abilities needed, whether stereotypes affect career choices. Class 1 students tried to recognize professions after pictures or associations and marked their dream profession. Class 4 students learned how similar professions could be divided into groups and marked their “occupation house”.
Students of classes 7 and 8 had the opportunity to verify their attention and knowledge of the names of the professions. The pupils had to find quite familiar and popular professions in the letter grid, and something that sounds strange to them. Students admitted that finding all 47 professions was not easy, some worked in pairs, others - individually, but a common class team work helped this grid “decode”.
The primary school students were able to feel the role of football-windows - by participating in the drawing competition “the profession of the future”. At the end of his career, pupils presented their work, describing the representatives of the professions drawn up and their potential job responsibilities. Teachers and pupils were pleasantly surprised at the idea of pupils, one of the most interesting works seemed to be the “color magician” of the 1 st class student, which would be converted into a more colourful and brighter surroundings.
All the participants' classes were awarded with gratitude for participation in events (competitions) within the “career week”.
