In the barrels, the sacrifices ended in September with Miķelday's trade. From the very morning, the students of the Central School of Rezne actively embarked on integrated learning activities at different stops, playing Miķelday tasks in questions and answers. At five control points, children were going to collect the maximum score and add the highest rating to their team.
The children had been preparing for the Miķeldayday market all week, set up original market-based designs and their team presentations, produced beautiful rocks, formed autumn compositions, baked cakes, pies, and cooked a variety of jellies. The market area could buy autumn vegetables - onions, pumpkins, as well as this year so little apples, medicated peppermint and flame-flowers tea, scented soap offered by small pulpons from Rezekne. Domestic producers from neighborhood parishes were also invited to the villages. Alija Protosevich offered very original leather articles and cultures for the rejection of viruses with garlic aroma. In contrast, Valentina Svarinska, owner of the farm “Saulgriezis”, offered a variety of spices from diles, garlic, onions, celery etc.
The market took place in the house, so the filled rooms made it possible to feel the pleasure of trade and the willingness of customers to shopping. When speaking to children, it was brightly to feel the risk of trade and support from the parents. Young Laura Nedushenko offered every child a chance to take a creative workshop and create a Miķelday symbol - Pumpkin.
When the market fun went to the end, everyone had the chance to take photos in the autumn photo stalls, receive prizes and diplomas. Thanks to the Teacher's Edgar Ancha team, he could enjoy a shared Miķelday—vegetable stew.
Thank you that we can create festivals together and feel the autumn joy!
