Names of the winners of the “Rezekne District” competition
The Rēzekne municipality has a tradition on 19 March, in Joseph's Day, to honor the winners of the “Rezekne District Company” competition. As a result of the second year's covid pandemic, the measure was abolished. A decision was taken to announce the names of the winners of the competition and the nomination of nominators in the informative edition of Rezekne Municipality “Rēzekne District News”, on the website www.rezeknesnovads.lv and social network Facebook, while the winners are honoured in July, in the events of Rezekne municipality.
In nomination “annual enterprise” prize receives SIA “Green Island” (Rita Tērauda, Griškānu civil parish), local identity product (VIP) winner – z/s “Liepkalns” (Aleksejs Dinilin, Ilzeskalna civil parish), year-old businessman – Edgars Potachow (active holiday park “Chile”, Kaunatas civil parish). Nomination “annual tourism service provider” for best recognised EVERY “Razna pine” (Santa viša-light, Čornajas civil parish), while the “annual agricultural company” winner is SIA “RANPO” (Renars Katkovsky, Kaunatas civil parish). In the nomination “annual family business” is honoured z/s “Ezerkrasti” (Sandra and Eric Vishi, parish Čornajas). Annual artisanal/domestic producer Christine Dakule (Kantinieku civil parish), but the largest employer in the municipality (after increasing number of jobs) – company SIA TESSA TRANS.
