In Latvia, the teacher day is celebrated on the first Sunday of October, and internationally, the world teacher day is celebrated on 5 October. That is the time we remember our teachers and tell them, thank you. THE Bērzgales school can also be proud of its teachers who have raised no generations. Therefore, on 9 October, a closer and further village gathered in THE Bērzgales cultural house to remember one of the most brightest teachers OF Bērzgales. The event was accompanied by a large crowd of teacher students who, inspired by Mayula Deca, had been involved with sport in sports disciplines such as skiing, Quick-skating, Handball, Light Athletics, Cycling. Among them was Arkady candle - a cyclist, an excellent cycling sports mechanic, an annual prize for sport in 2017, Valentin Viaver - skirer and fast-skater who worked as a sports teacher at the 1 st High School of Latvia after graduating from the Latvian National Institute of Physical Culture. Valentin Zlidnis, Juris Juris, Stanislavs Skruļs, Alexander Viaver, Sylvia Barkāne should be mentioned among the greatest students. 18 Meikula Deca's students have entered and successfully completed the Latvian National Institute of Physical Culture after graduation OF Bērzgales secondary school.

Gunar Ludborgs shared his memories about the development of ski sports in Rēzekne district and cooperation with M. Decsni.

Teacher M. Decrsnis was an active sporting organizer in Berzgale. The construction of the new sports hall told Stanislava Igaune.

During the event, the most important life events of the teacher were taken, it has been rich, a life filled with passion and enthusiasm. His life friend, Vincenta, who was a teacher, was an important role. The teacher's profession was also selected by both daughters, Inara and Zigrīda, who continue their father's work at his home in Micane Lake. The band “re-noun”, the classic guitar artist Kristaps Wish and Peter Chaksh, who enjoyed their acordeon game, took care of the musical mood. In conclusion, it was also possible to enjoy the cakes and other confectionery prepared by Zigrīd, as she has now turned to another of her hobbies – confectionery and created the company I/K “RURAL FLAVOUR” in her parents' countryside.

I would like to thank Inara and Zigrīda for their support for the event and for all participants in the event about the interest and the opportunity to come to the event.
