After retirement, there is no need to go to the post office - the State Social Insurance Agency is able to submit it to the home

Having regard to the requirements Covid-19 limiting the distribution, which reduces service options in postal chapters due to the area defined by the customer and provides for a longer service waiting time, as well as the health risks that may be caused by the attendance of the site; Latvian Mail and the National Social Insurance Agency (NSAA) reminds that the pension can be obtained in its place of residence by applying this service TO THE SSIA.

For Latvia's mail there is a contract with THE SSIA for the supply of pensions at the place of residence of the beneficiaries and this cash delivery service will cost the customer 2.39 euros. The cost of this service is lower than the individual cash cost of the service at the customer's place of residence from Postal settlement systems.  

Submission OF a submission TO THE SSIA regarding change of the cost address, deciding on the subsequent delivery of the pension at the place of residence, may be submitted electronically in the Official Journal e-address or e-mail pasts@vsaa.gov.lv (the application must be signed with a secure electronic signature containing time stamp). The submission may also be sent by post to any PART of THE SSIA or to be delivered at any customer service centre, except on Taliban Street 1, Riga, and to be left in a specially placed box for applications.

The recipient of the pension must also assume that the date of receipt of the pension may also change. THE addresses and working hours of THE VSAA customer service centres can be found here: https://www.vsaa.gov.lv/lv/filiales.
