The snowball is the “Maltys Pogosta puorwalde” of the “Maltys Pogosta puorwalde”, the “Maltys Pogosta puorwalde” of the “Maltys Pogosta puorwalde”. The plates in Latin will also be at Pušas, Silmalas, Lūznavas, Feimaņu, Ozolaines parish boards. On the other hand, on the Internet homepages of parish administrations, the most important information about the parish will be placed in the Latvian language, creating a separate section “about the poost latgalically”.

Why is it necessary? As far as so far, several municipalities in Latgale, alongside the Latvian version, also make the names of Latgalian, sometimes local government, villages, street names only in Latgalian language. Because everyday people use Latgalian language most often, so inscriptions in Latgalically will only contribute to the development and preservation of the Latvian language. Besides writing languages, it is important to promote not only literature by publishing works in books, publishing magazines and newspapers, as well as in the Internet, but also on a daily basis in places that are accessible to a large part of society. The plates placed on parish buildings with their names in the Latgalian language are as a business card and attestation that the parish is part of Latgale and Latvia.

The placement of the plate at Maltas parish administration is one of the activities of the municipality of Rezekne Municipality, “Maltas Association Board” “in the implemented project“ Maltys dvneibys pogocork rokstom latgalically ”, co-financed by the municipality of Rezekne municipality in the Latgalic Identity Support Programme.
