Awarded the Youth Annual Awards of the Rēzekne municipality 2020

February each year Rēzekne municipality council gathered the most active young people of Rezekne, youth affairs specialists and youth workers who were able to change the daily lives of their and other young people with their performance. This year Rēzekne's annual prize event has changed the format, the results of the competition are an opportunity to observe virtual.

In the summer ceremony of the Rēzekne municipality, awards were awarded in eight nominations, which had a total of 44 nominations. The winner of each nomination received a special prize, a stylised ladder made up of wood, symbolizing the way up to a career ladder. The authors of the stylised stairways as a year's prize were the young people of Rezekne. The implementation of the prize was taken over by the new businessman Walter Tsarud.

“School of the Year” — Dagne Tuche

Dagne Tuče is one of the most active people in Maltese parish. Dagne is currently in the 11 th grade of Maltese High School. Dagne learns well, is hard and perpetrated. Dagne actively engages in both school and non-hour events. Youth at school is active in the school of pupils, to vote on events and activities organised by pupils. Dagne was most delighted to dance in the school dance collective.

In the nomination “School of the Year”, Laima Grišule, Christian Pušnakov (Kaunatas High School), Victor Drozdov, Nadežda Verjovkina (Tiskad High School), Janis Saulitis (Dricana Secondary School), was also nominated.

“Year Volunteer” – Sophie Sjakste

Sophie is a very helpful, responsive, chuckle and talented young man of Nautrene parish. With her positive and fun nature, she can also charge the young people around her. Sophie is a man who will always try to help the other in any way and provide a helpful hand to anyone who needs it without any rejection. 

The nomination also includes Uzolmuiža parish, Cynthia Elizabeth Ratnik, Kaspars Skangalis.

“Year's New Athlete” – Emills Verchinskis

Feimau parish young Emile Verchinsky played in the football team “sun boys”, under the direction of coach Alexander Borodualin, has developed the characteristics of a character such as susceptibility and patience. Thanks to the programmes developed by Coach Leonid and Emilla's persistence, Emile is currently the first Latvian Favorite candidate in THE age group U18, in discipline 3000 m young people.

The nomination also included Victoria Zukova, Laura Lucatnik, Dagmar Helena Laureck, Anna Tripane (Berzgales civil parish), Renars Ducalevics (Kaunata civil parish), Ruslans Chereškevics (Čornajas civil parish). 

“Year's new artist” – Agate Gjibovska

Agate Gjibovska is a responsive, responsible, active, creative, curious student of the 8 th grade of the Maltese High School who is willing to participate in both school life and out-of-school activities. The state of emergency in the country has not stopped Agatha's willingness to participate in various creative works, cultural and civic life activities, which have also gained prizes last year.

Lāsma Kowalevska (Stalerova parish) and Ralph Bilinsky (Nautrenes civil parish) were also nominated in the nomination.

“Annual Youth Employee” – Dina Sukkane

Dinah, with self-enthusiasm and selfishness, works with young people, motivates them to participate in rural parish and conducts events, contributes to the development of versatile skills. With her work, Dinah promotes the interest of young people in cultural heritage, forms of creative expressions and full-time spending. During the emergency, Dina was very successful in organising activities for young people by organising photo competitions, quizzes, challenges related to active time escorting. In parallel with direct job responsibilities, Dinah regularly complements his knowledge and learns the latest novelties with young people in order to be able to work with young people more effectively and to be interested in them.

Jekaterina Itkača, Tamara Kablanova (Kaunata civil parish) was also nominated in the nomination.

“Year Study Company” — Maltese High School Student Company SONG “D.K.A”

Three 10 th-class students – Daniela Paplavska, Amanda Afanasjeva and Jekaterina Vanchenko – are starting their schooling company for a second year. This year the girls are producing a unique product that is now very popular around the world – epoxide jewelry. The earrings and other accessories are made using a popular epoxide resin-casting technique, with the help of which it is possible to incorporate a particle from the natural beauty of Latvia – dried flowers, plants, etc. 

“New York-friendly parish administration” – Feimau civil parish administration

The Feimau parish administration supports young people in various ways by providing transport, helping to implement projects, measures and supporting youth initiatives. The Feimau parish administration actively engages in the lives of young people, listens to the wishes and ideas of young people, helping to implement unprecedented measures and realizing already planned. The Feimau parish administration supports young people and their ideas are always heard and also supported as far as possible.

The municipality of Berzgales parish, the municipality of Makoņkalns parish, the district of Chornajas parish, the municipality of Griškanas parish, the Kaunatas parish administration was also nominated in the nomination.

“Year's most active parish 2020” – Maltese civil parish

Maltese parish is a sufficiently well-developed infrastructure for the diverse and useful life of young people. One of the largest civil parish institutions in Malta, which organises work with young people, is the Maltese children and youth centre. It is an administrative unit of the municipality of Rezekne, Maltese parish, which provides a favourable environment and a targeted leisure organisation for children and young people, promotes youth initiatives and implement programmes of interest education. In 2020, 39 domestic events were organised in Maltese civil parish and the parish young people participated in 19 other parish, municipality and also international events and competitions for young people, promoting the Rezekne municipality.

Second place was acquired by Kaunatas civil parish, 3. vInta - Feimau civil parish.  

The nomination also included: the parish of Ozolmuiža, the parish of Nautrenes, the parish of Lendzu, the parish of Chornajas, the parish of Makoņkalns, the parish of Dricana, the parish of Griškana, the parish of Verems.

We express great gratitude for each nomination, highlighting his talent, skills and ability to express himself. Each nomination organiser will communicate individually and take care that the prize is delivered to the winner.
