Water quality conforming to the norms of the Rezekne municipality

The bathing sites in Luban Lake (Gaigalavas parish area) and Razna Lake (Lipušku village at the school) are included in the list of bathing sites to be monitored by the State budget.

Physico-chemical and microbiological examinations were performed, as well as visual observations of each bathing site.

In accordance with microbiological indicators of the monitoring of bathing water quality and the results of visual inspection in the month of May, it is permitted to swimming in these bathing areas.

The results of the June samples are currently being prepared and will be sent to the Health Inspectorate for evaluation.

In 2022, the municipality of Rezekne has concluded a contract with the scientific institute “BIOR” for food safety, animal health and the environment.
