“School of Latvia” is the largest national centenary gift for more than 200 000 Latvian children and young people. Our school children also had the chance to receive this gift.
As a result of the project, on 24 November, Signagala Jānis KCo. 's primary school primary school students had the opportunity to go to Rezekne to the museum of Latgale cultural history. There, the pupils participated in two museum pedagogical programs: “as a top bread”, where they learned how long a small grade path to a loaf of bread on the table, as well as met the ancient work tools, and a “clay pickup adventure”, during which he learned of the transformation of the clay pike to the dish and made his own ceramic product. As they said goodbye to the kindly museum workshops, we went to Rēzekne's cultural house, where we were already waiting for an actor to show an unusual show in the “aegrons.” The children were fascinated by unusual events that could be heard in two languages – Latvian and Italian, as well as locations next to actors – on stage and final total dance.
In the morning of 6 December, the students of Classes 1-4 drove in an excitation to Varakalans Manor – the property of Count Mikhael Johana Borha. The children went through the excursion on the 2 nd floor of the castle. He listened with interest to the narrative of the history of the palace, the people and the life of the manor in Borha. When he mentioned the dough, he learned of the ancient kitchenware that was a great discovery to the pupils. The children looked at the ancient Latvian women's countryside and concluded that it was luxurious and rich.
On the 1 st floor of the castle, students had the opportunity to operate themselves. In the creative workshop, the girls made corons, they were rooted. The boys were making “moustache”. The children used their jobs when they listened to the stories. A nice photo session also took place. In conclusion, the nurses of the hospitable castle were all treated with peppercakes.
During this excursion, the children learned to behave properly, to listen carefully, to work with them, so that they could be used in the course of the excursion and could be used in the course of the training and out-of-hours. He learned to compare subjects in the ancient and modern kitchen.
The children liked to mention the dough, play the ancient musical instrument, liked the beautiful People's dress, enjoyed listening to the story of Count and Countess, and working with them, liked the photosession, dressing in princess dresses.
Thank you for the project “Latvian School Finish” about the opportunity to expand the vision of children and to spend time.
