Technical Creation Day “Try!” Find out! “Look!” Dricānu in secondary school

On Wednesday, 29 November ESF project 8.3.2.2/16/I/001 “Support for the development of educated individual competences” at Dricānu High School was organised by a technical innovation day “test! Find out! Fuck up! '
In collaboration with SIA ASPIRED team, who has been one of the interdisciplinary practitioners and developers in Latvia for several years, technically creative workshops were organised at Dricānu High School for all students of classes 1-9 of the school. Dricānu secondary school pupils also joined the neighborhood school – Gaigalavas primary schools and the Jaunjjan elementary school pupils.
Throughout the course of the day, pupils were active in six technically creative workshops, where, by actively engaging, attractively educated, formed the team spirit, developed the joy of competitions, and generally encouraged interest in the technical areas that today have unambiguous prospects. The younger class students had the opportunity to produce flabers, bombs, and cosmic missiles, which were “launched into space” at the end of the lesson. The oldest classes were made by Led lanterns, catapults and trying to find out how to earn a million with electric bulbs.
In the absence of their own and intelligent entertainment, students in workshops were learning the topics of physics, mechanics, chemistry, energy and climate change. An unequivocal event at school contributed to a creative approach to education and career choices.
